Koshoan

Set menu soba restaurant located next to Akizuki Castle Grounds.

Founded in 1978, Koshoan is a popular soba restaurant offering a small set lunch and tea menu. A seasonal range of local produce is on offer. The sign outside lists the day’s items with photos. The family grows their own rice, used in the dishes, which is available for purchase in the months after harvest.

The restaurant recently shifted operations from the smaller building below to the larger hall up the slope.
