Ikedaya offers a range of noodle dishes, including the thin and white “soumen”, in case you have had your fill of conventional buckwheat soba. It’s a small operation but has caught the attention of a number of celebrities, which you can see photos of on the walls.
Make sure you visit the toilet before you leave. The route takes you through the family's Kimono room, which is full of beautiful outfits and fabrics.
