Ryokan Seiryuan is set in a beautiful estate, which includes a range of gardens and even a koi pond. Each of the six rooms, larger than in most ryokans, have their own private hot-spring bath to compliment the communal onsens in the main building.
Seiryuan has been renovated and updated to offer modern accommodation. It is a premium option but well worth the investment. The communal spaces include a spectacular dining room, with views of the garden.
Seiryuan presents a kaiseki-style set menu in the evening, and in the morning a Japanese breakfast. There is also an excellent restaurant alongside the main ryokan.
